Theatre

Hey, everyone! It's been a long time since I have posted something here at my blog. I think it's already almost a month.

Today, I'm posting that I made for our theater class. It is a poster of our play entitled "Mercy".

The story is about a mentally challenged girl who is taken cared of by nuns in a convent. The girl's name is "Mercy"; thus, the title.

Mercy was a mentally challenged girl who was loved by almost everyone in the community. One day when she was outside the church, a guy came to her. He raped her and killed her.

The message of this play is who the real sane between them is. Is it Mercy who is literally mentally challenged or is it the guy who raped and killed the helpless girl?

The story is based on a real story.

Below is the poster I made for our play that was just performed earlier today.

The picture used in the poster is taken by yours truly. The poster is edited also by me. Yeah, I'm still not good at photo editing. I tried my best. I'm sorry. ^^

Do I deserve

I am in need of inspiration. Suddenly, I thought of listening to praise songs while doing some school work. After searching for praise songs in youtube. A song that was written by a young 13 year old boy, suddenly popped out of my mind. I searched for it and listened to it. I hope you guys would listen to it too. I don't really have a audio file for it, but there's a video which I'm going to share here later as you read further.

The first time I heard this song was at our school. The makers and cast of the movie "Agawan Base" were invited in our school to share their masterpiece. Here is the synopsis and trailer. It is a really great movie. It makes you realize how harsh the world is. However, despite the cold and cruel the world may be, God is always there. Nothing can win against our God. In this movie, Pippen Tan, the 13 year old boy (I think he's already 14, but I'm not sure) who sang and wrote the song, was one of the main cast. He was introduced after the movie with the rest of the cast who were able to come. He then sang this song.

I don't really cry over songs, movies, books or etc. but when he sang this song, I got teary-eyed. I was trying not to cry. During the song, a lot of thoughts came into mind. Stuff like: "Wow, he's so gifted." "Why can't I be as good as him?" "What have I been doing with my life?" "Why am I alive?" I started questioning my existence, my purpose. I came to a point where I should be doing my mission in life. Whatever that may be I will find it. Unfortunately, I'm quite an inconsistent person. I forgot this realization. I hope I will be able to start well and continue.

I hope everyone can feel the message of the song, feel the love of the song. There are lyrics in the video. You can can sing along. :) I hope you will enjoy the song as much as I did.
